Goodbye mr snowman. Pretty as it was, it ain't funny when you're sat on a plane trying to get off the runway at six in the morning!
Three and a half hours later we finally managed to get our early morning slot out of Newcastle to Schipol and landed somewhat behind schedule. Luckily the client we were producing the video for has a plant that stays open until 11pm – so our 2 days shoot just had to go on a little later than planned.
Back in England we burned the midnight eco friendly light bulbs in order to hit the clients' deadline. I cannot deny there were a few heart burn moments – but we made it. Hard work isn't always in itself rewarded... but the client loved what we produced for them so it's smiles all round... The trick is to make the programme look effortless - whilst behind the scenes we were pedalling faster than Sam Whittingham on a monocycle.... phew!
