Oiling the wheels of industry

Lots of people's dads 'used to work' in some factory or other, but more often than not, said factory isn't doing business any more.
Anyway that's just to say it's good to work with a company that is still actually involved in making the 'real' rather than the virtual.. stuff that's oily and big.. mans stuff.... well alright, getting carried away now.
This month has us working on three websites for Royston. Based around the same general layout, the sites are for the parent company, their sister company in Australia, plus a standalone product called enginei which uses google earth to track ships across the globe and monitor their speed and fuel consumption.
The Royston sites are serene and informative, but are there to illicit a response from potential customers, so are more of a shop window than a deep resource. We think engineering sites should be smart and well designed – as befits their service. Theirs is an industry that can be a tad conservative in its approach to image so we look forward to launching these nice new, modern looking sites very soon.
